Project Management Melitron has the necessary experience and resources to manage your product launch and ensure timelines and milestones stay on track throughout the project. Project coordinators or teams can be assigned depending on the complexity and scope of your next project. Status reports can be shared and easily exchanged using Project Management software. Customization Melitron operates in a high mix, low to medium volume manufacturing environment. We have specific processes in place to create the ability to deliver highly customized products at the lowest total costs. Our Engineering Group has the necessary expertise to provide a comprehensive review of product introductions and changes, quick customization of designs, and the timely return to market of your products. Direct Order Fulfillment Direct order fulfillment involves receiving customer orders, preparing products to rapidly fill the orders and delivering the parts and assemblies to the OEM at either their final assembly site or a distribution outlet. Real-time inventory management and data control on the shop floor allows us to efficiently process and administer orders for custom configurations and varying production quantities, including single units. Supply Chain Management Materials procurement and supply chain management includes the sourcing, planning, purchasing, expediting and warehousing of components and materials used in the manufacturing process. Melitron’s approved vendor network, inventory management capabilities, materials expertise and volume leveraging contribute to cost reductions and reduce your total cost of ownership. Inventory Management Customer specific stocking programs, consignment inventories and Kanban systems can be developed and utilized to avoid cycle time constraints and support timely deployment of components and assemblies. Logistics Service Document preparation and transportation is coordinated by Melitron’s Logistics Team for shipments within Canada, the United States and Mexico. Packaging solutions, with an emphasis on reusable packaging methods, ensure products arrive safely at the customers' assembly line or in their distribution warehouses. |
